Research areas identified to achieve technical, social and economic objectives that allow the deployment of Local Energy Communities with a positive balance.
Progress in the implementation of local energy communities with a positive net balance requires systematic methodologies and procedures for their planning and design to evaluate not only technical aspects of electrical and thermal networks and their associated resources but also economic and environmental aspects and even regulation.
In this context, the Cervera HySGRid+ consortium seeks to position itself as a benchmark in the planning of positive local energy communities by strengthening and developing two lines of research that aim to solve the problems raised.
The definition of precise mathematical models about behavior in steady state and in dynamic regime of different technologies involved in ecosystems (PV / Thermal hybrid solar panels, thermal storage systems based on PCMs or TCMs6, ORC cycles, etc.).
Establishment of design criteria and development of different support tools for decision making in planning of energy communities.
